San Ignatio de Loyola en Punta Gorda The men and women wear traditional Garifuna clothing, speak Garifuna, and play Punta Music. It is a beautiful ceremony! In 1796, the Garifuna people arrived to the Island from Western Africa and now the majority of Garifuna on the Island live in Punta Gorda. |
