continuation... a glimpse of my life over the last year!

      Clínica Esperanza

fruit stand outside the clinic

Celebrating  an employee's birthday!
Angie & Susan (sisters)- the clinic's receptionists
and two of the kindest people you will ever meet.

In August, the Island received 4 million dollars in donated
medications from
Direct Relief International and the medications
were distributed among several clinics and the public hospital.
This picture only shows about 1/4 of the boxes we received.

Minor delay at the beginning of our trip...

This man and his dog caught a pile of Iguanas.
I have yet to try Iguana but I've heard it's good.
Spending time with the kids is always a good time.

An awesome group of volunteers from this summer! ~May 2013~

Sandy Bay
This is the dock near my home where I like to watch the sunset.
I couldn't help sharing another photo of the Island's natural beauty!

  1. Hi Makayla

    Just googled Jobs, Roatan

I have been to Copan twice with Paramedics for Children. Once to Africa with Summits of hope. I would like to take a year off and help in Roatan or on the mainland. Do you need a Canadian Paramedic on the island? Lots of experience, I transported and delivered six 12 lead ekg monitors to Honduras in 2010. Donated from our local ER. Pls send a mail or fb at your convenience. Kevin Kaban. kingsgate@email.com
